Tyrell's Winery traces its roots to 1858 when Edward Tyrell, a British immigrant, took up a selection of 320 acres of prime Hunter Valley land - one of the last available properties in this limestone rich territory abutting the Brokenback range. Tyrell's staunchly advocates sustainable farming through their established Environmental Management System which has achieved a 62% reduction in Total Greenhouse Gas Emissions since 2009. Today, Tyrell's premium vineyards extend from their historic home in Hunter Valley to other distinguished grape growing regions in Australia including Heathcote in Victoria where they have identified seven rare vineyard blocks more than 100 years old. A rich & full-bodied white with lovely ripe peach and stone fruit aromas & flavors with added touches of oak. It is a dry white wine with a full mouthfeel & fresh acid characters that lead to a vibrant & refreshing finish.
