With 14 months of aging in oak and another year in the bottle, this Protos Crianza 2014 has gained a more noticeably coffee nose and black cherry and plums with its red fruit aromas, lifted by this wine's good acidity.

This Crianza can stand up to more heavily-flavored dishes.

Winemaker / tasting notes:

Cherry color with garnet rim, bright and intense. On the nose, red fruit expression, powerful, elegant, dry stone, cocoa bean, creamy oak, hints of spices. On the palate, powerful, flavorful, fruity, good acidity, smoky aftertaste, tasty, long finish. Pair with grilled red meat, cured meat, game birds, small game, light stews, mild cheese.
