Why We Love This Wine
Nestled deep in Galicia on the banks of the River Sil transversing the Ribeira Sacra Region, the Ponte da Boga Winery is set on steeply sloped terraces basking in balmy Spanish sunlight where vines up to 100 years old are cooled by Atlantic winds. This wine showcases intense & complex notes of citrus, stonefruit, & rose blossoms with additional smoky undertones. This wine would go well as an aperitif or paired with Smoked Salmon, Tuna Poke Bowls, Sushi, & Soft Cheeses.
Winemaker / Tasting Notes
A fresh & elegant expression of Albarino with varietal characters of lime, pink grapefruit, lemon marmalade, apricot, & nectarine fruit characters with added nuances of rose & lavender florals as well smoky notes from a brief aging period in French oak.
