We love this beautiful, not overly sweet Grenache-Shiraz-Mataro tawny from All Saints Estate. It's deliciously fruity and nutty with a dry, lingering finish. Great to mix with aged spirits like Scotch or sip with desserts & cheese.
A tawny colour with a hint of red. The aroma is a mix of ripe berry fruit and rancio characters from extended barrel maturation. On the palate there is ripe fruit giving a generous mouth feel with hints of vanilla and chocolate.
Enjoy with a cheese selection including a good, sharp cheddar or soft, ripe blue cheese (the stronger the better) or after dinner with well brewed coffee and a good conversation. It can be enjoyed during the summer months poured over crushed ice or chilled in the fridge and served with chocolate mud cake.
