The marriage of sun drenched days & ocean cooled nights creates a perfect harmony in the wines of Andover Estate. Grown on sustainably farmed estate vineyards in the cool, rocky Arroyo Seco Sub-Region in Monterey County, these vines were sheltered in the late afternoon shadows of the Sta. Lucia Mountains. It is where the cold, marine air from Monterey Bay drifts down the valley in a fog that clears up by mid-day and the late afternoon, howling winds from the Pacific & low rainfall create an ideal site that consistently yields a graceful & refined Chardonnay.
Bright, focused, & elegant with aromas of vanilla, orange blossom, & delicious yellow apple. On the palate, the lush & ripe flavors of white peach, Asian pear, & vanilla come to the fore followed by a citrus finish with hints of creamy, honeyed oak.
