Why We Love This Wine
The wines of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, a family firm presided over today by Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, combines traditional know how with the most modern technology to transform the gifts of nature into works of art & sources of pleasure. This same dedication goes into this expressive Chardonnay with a bright yellow color with golden hints. It has an intense nose with a bouquet of white peach, grapefruit, & floral notes with trace hints of butter, vanilla, & hazelnuts. Pair this with chicken and turkey dishes, Baked Mussels, and a light Veal Stew.
Winemaker / Tasting Notes
A glittering, pale golden yellow in color, the nose initally opens up with aniseed and vine peach aromas followed by buttery notes and touches of acacia & other white blossoms upon further airing. The attack on the palate is round, creamy, & smooth with touches of vanilla and vine peach culminating in a fresh & powerful finish.
