From a small winery in Hallgarten in the Rheingau region steadfastly adopting respected traditional winemaking practices, all the vines from the Bibo Runge winery are 30 years old or older. They do traditional basket pressing with very little pressure whereby the aromatic components are extracted from berry skins imbuing their wines with extract richness & length. The result is this beautiful Riesling with aromas of apricot, passionfruit, & lemon and a palate that is fruity & complex with a full & vibrant acidity providing remarkable texture & finesse on the finish. Pair this with prawns, clam chowder, Mussels in white wine sauce, or White fish with lemon butter sauce.
A beautifully-made Riesling from gently basket-pressed fruit. Ripe aromas of apple, peach and apricot. Intensely aromatic and juicy with electric acidity and a long, zingy finish. Fermented in large wooden oak casks. Pairs beautifully with prawns and mussels, white fish with citrus dressing, zesty salads, a cheeseboard or smoked fish matured cheddar or Comté.
