A small, family owned plot of only 0.31 hectares planted with over 50 year old vines, Domaine Testut is one of the real jewels of the Chablis Region. Perfectly situated between the Grand Cru Blanchot and the Premier Cru of Montee de Tonnerre, it is arguably the finest Chablis Appellation Controlee in the region. Pale straw in in color, the nose reveals stone fruit, apple, pear, lemon curd, & white floral aromas. On the palate, apple, pear, & white peach flavors emerge with a bright acid mineral & oak laced finish.
This is a long & powerful white wine displaying a beautiful minerality ensuring a good balance.
