This Chateau, divided into 7 parcels, has been family owned since 1862. Chateau de Valois is an intense modern style Pomerol made predominantly from Merlot grapes. This wine is aged for 14 months in oak barrels before bottling. This is an exuberant, voluptuous Claret with prevalent plum and vanilla spice flavors that will further develop more complex underbrush & undergrowth characters with further aging.
