The Chateau La Clemente has been in the Maurin family for several generations producing dry white, sweet white, and Red Bordeaux AOP wines. In the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers near Bordeaux, the vines are planted halfway up gentle slopes on a clay & limestone soil mix with great care and the utmost respect for the terroir & tradition. The grapes are picked when slightly overripe to obtain a high sugar level leaving a residual sweetness in this wine with a light golden color, a fruity nose of pears & peaches, and a texture that is soft & fleshy on the palate. Pair this wine with spicy dishes like Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Mapo Tofu or simply as an aperitif.
Light golden in colour, the nose gives off aromas of fresh fruit with pervasive pear and peach highlights. Light and fruit forward, this French white wine blend allows for very pleasant and enjoyable drinking either on its own or with light & spicy dishes.
