Garnet in color, this 2014 St. Julien manifests a lovely perfumed bouquet of fresh raspberry & plum with hints of cigar tobacco, mushrooms, & damp earth characters. The palate is crisp, energetic, & very focused where voluptuous dark cherry & plum fruit flasvors emerge from ripe & dense tannins balanced out by an intense & crisp acid edge.

An extremely aromatic wine with crushed raspberry & plum characters with added sweet tobacco, wet earth, & dried mushroom nuances. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with silky & racy tannins culminating in an oyster-shell & iodine laced finish.
