From the gently rolling, south facing slopes of Hochheim with chalky, mineral rich soil that is famous for growing richer & outstanding quality Rieslings, stands the 7th Generation Domdechant Werner Family Estate comprising a stylish manor house surrounded by vineyards overlooking the picturesque city of Mainz and the Rhine & Main River valleys. The heavy calcareous soils in this Rheingau region guarantees good water balance even in hot years where the vine roots can draw nutrients from the soil even until late autumn. This dry and elegantly structured wine with aromas of yellow plum & peach and rich palate of yellow apple, almond, & a touch of minerality will go great with crayfish, clam dishes, fish, & other seafood dishes.
Elegant, dry Riesling with density and finesse. Distinct fruit aromas combine with lively acidity. Combination of complex playfulness with substance and sustainability.
