Winemaker / Tasting Notes
The 2018 Roserock Pinot Noir is a lively, energetic expression of both the vintage & the Eola Hills terroir. The color is a striking light garnet darkening slightly at the core. On the nose, black currant & ripe plum fruit aromas are followed by crushed red floral & clove spice scents. The palate opens up with intense cherry & cranberry fruit flavors interwoven with allspice & light oak hints. The tannins are dusty yet elegant blending beautifully with this Pinot's fresh & bright acidity. Its' texture, balance, & length are all equally impeccable making for a lovely wine immediately enjoyable now but should drink well over the next 6 to 8 years with careful cellaring.
