Winemaker / Tasting Notes
Appearance: The ruby colored wine is limpid and bright. Nose: The subtle nose shows delicate and enjoyable red fruit notes, like cherry and strawberry. The attack is supple with a beautiful freshness which gives it a nice fruit balance. The subtle and light woody touch provides spicy note. The wine has a graceful structure with a nice aromatic persistence. Taste: This 2016 Chateau Mauvesin Barton wine is sweet red cherry, plum, rose petal, spice and mint all flesh out in this succulent Moulis en Médoc. In 2016, the Cabernet Sauvignon was affected by frost, so there is more Merlot in the blend than is typically the case.
