Winemaker / Tasting Notes

The crop is 100% destemmed and slightly crushed before to be transferred into stainless steel tank. The wine is then aged in French oak barrel (70% new) for 12 months.

James Suckling writes, "A selection of millerandage berries from the best parcels, this has a very spicy and sappy nose with foresty notes and dark cherries. Meaty and mushroom aromas, too. This is complex. The palate has very assertive, fine and dense tannin with a zesty, succulent delivery of ripe red-cherry flavors. Pastry-like layers on the finish. Drink over the next decade."
