This is a light & citrusy Chardonnay with aromas and flavors of pear & citrus fruit. On the palate, it is smooth & fruity displaying medium oak characters & a clean, crisp taste. Pair this with Salads with creamy dressings like Mango Kani Salad & Cobb Salad as well as light seafood dishes like Black Cod with Lemon Butter Sauce, Tarragon, & Capers.
Winemaker / Tasting Notes
Our current Chardonnay is the culmination of many harvests, hands, and one shared vision. The 2018 vintage year was sun-drenched & delivered exceptionally ripened fruit. The Chardonnay grapes come primarily from the North Coast, blending the best grapes from various vineyards adding to its complexity & pure fruit character. On the nose, aromas of autumn maple leaves, caramel, & toasted oak characters emerge. On its medium-bodied palate, baked golden apple, vanilla, & coconut notes are revealed with this great balance of flavors lingering through to a smooth finish.
