Country of Origin: Portugal
Type: Red Wine
Grape variety: Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Tinta roriz, Touriga Nacional
Why we love this wine:
Crafted from a mansion that was once burned by the troops of Napoleon, this is a deliciously inviting wine made from a blend of native Portuguese grapes. This would go beautifully with strong cheeses and risottos.
Winemaker / tasting notes:
Dark red colour. Very complex aromas to very ripe wild fruits, with cherry nuances and spices, and with the presence of chocolate notes. Velvety and full in the mouth with presence of elegant tannins contributing to a long end of mouth.
