Villa Girardi is a typical Venetian Villa designed by Luigi Trezza back in the 1700s. The Villa is located in a large park with old trees surrounded by 30 hectares of vineyards with rich clay-limestone soil and a mild climate creating conditions conducive to the cultivation of indigenous Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, and Molinara grape varieties. The family business was formally founded in 1986 under the auspices of Franco Tommasi. The Villa Girardi Estate lies in the valley that connects San Pietro in Cariano with Fumane in the heart of the Valpolicella Region northwest of Verona. This Soave blend consists of a combination of Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave or Verdicchio grape varieties. Simple & refreshing as well as crisp & fruity, this wine offers up a delicate nose of spring blossoms & summer orchard fruit. It is tangy & refreshing manifesting flavors of white peach, yellow pear, and a hint of beeswax running parallel to a crisp acidity. Pair this wine with Fried Zucchini Flowers, Steamed Scallops with Ginger, or Veronese Pandoro (Italian Christmas Cake)
Elegant aroma, delicate and continuous with a characteristic of hint of flowers. On the palate, it is clean, velvety and gentle, very harmonious with hints of almonds
