This 2018 Brouilly from Burgundy emerges from the glass with a lovely bouquet of cherries, raspberries, florals, & bergamot spice. On its medium to full-bodied palate, it is succulent & fleshy with a bountiful core of crunchy fruit flavors framed by fine-grained tannins.
Winemaker / Tasting Notes
From the Chateau Des Tours Winery at the foot of Mount Brouilly comes the Brouilly 2018 vintage, made exclusively with hand-picked Gamay grapes from their mineral heavy vineyards. The wine is bottled after several months of aging at the Chateau. On the nose, dominant ripe fruits are prevalent. On the palate, it is round, silky, & fruity with soft & mellow tannins. A supple and rich red, this will make for a brilliant pairing with rich red meat dishes.
