Winemaker / Tasting Notes

Reserva Real was created after his majesty King Don Juan Carlos visited the Torres winery in 1995, and was treated to one of the most exclusive and limited production wines in Spain. It is created from the best Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes from their small vineyard Agulladolç, which is also home to a beautiful 11th century Romanesque hermitage. The wines spend 18 months in new French oak barrels. Fresh, intense, complex aroma with notes of jams (blackberry, cherry) and leather. Superb body on the palate, with silky tannins, exquisitely developing at length in the mouth.
