Why we love this wine:

An all time favourite of our panel, Barbera is medium bodied, high acid and low tannin, meaning it is the perfect wine to pair with tomato based stews, spicy dishes, and literally any Italian red sauce pizza or pasta.

Winemaker / tasting notes:

When we planted Barbera in the ground of our Upper King Valley vineyard in 1984, little did we know that the variety would become the foundation of Chrismont, and a first for King Valley. Today, we continue to develop our distinct style through meticulous grape growing and winemaking, spurred on by the Australian wine drinker's love of Italian flavours.
