Winemaker / Tasting Notes

The grapes for Butcher's Cut Premium are harvested from fields in Mendoza, where the climate is especially favourable for wine growing. The difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures gives the grapes an intensity and nerve. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery where they are vinified according to traditional methods. The wine is deep red with violet hues with aromas of soft and charming fragrance of dark Malbec grapes, hinting raspberries, raisins, black pepper and a dash of chocolate. On the palate, the fragrances are then confirmed on the palate as the classic characteristics of Malbec grapes. A perfect accompaniment to a good steak, barbecue, spicy dishes or a selection of cheeses.
