What a difference a couple of generations make! In the mid 1980s, South Australia's old Grenache, Mourvedre, and Shiraz vines were being removed due to lack of demand. Brave Faces is a tribute to the men & women who loyally tended their vineyards allowing them to remain intact today. Deep purple in color with faint red flickers, the nose evokes bright & fresh ripe cherry, dark cedar, dried herb, lavender florals, & black pepper aromas. On the palate, this wine boasts a clean & pure texture with excellent ripe, round, & dense dark fruit flavors buttressed by concentrated & meaty tannins and lovely mineral characters throughout.
