Why we love this wine:
93pts by Wine Enthusiast / 89pts Robert Parker, this Portuguese red is full-bodied, rich and satisfying -- crafted by the distinguished Quevedo family which boasts a rich history of growing grapes and making Port wine. This wine has flavours of dark fruit and chocolate, subtle oak, a suggestion of mocha and licorice. It’s delicious, but do serve it with food.
Winemaker / tasting notes:
The nose presents blackberry and plum fruits with a touch of spice. A rich, intense and powerful wine. The palate is full of dark fruit and chocolate that persist to a long tannin finish.
Q Grande Reserva can be a gift for loved ones or kept for special occasions. In every "Q" release, we blend our local choice of grapes, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz, famous for their small and intensely perfumed fruits.
