Family Reserve Chardonnay represents the highest quality of Silver Heights white wine. Made in a Burgundy style, it has been widely acclaimed once its first vintage in 2013. In 2016, it was selected for a State Banquet, a signal of high honor and recognition in the PRC.
A crispy green apple and fresh lemon zest. Phenolic flavor and a hint of vanilla on the nose. Soft, approachable and lactic acidity with a tangy and long, mineral finish, along with slight notes of wood. Pair with Steamed Fish, Roasted Chicken, Cheese, Fettuccine al Tartufo, and Artichokes.
Why We Love This Wine:
Beautifully colored with medium gold, complex aromas greet the nose with notes of applesauce, vanilla, cream, roasted almonds, and toast. Similar flavors are present on the palate leading to an amazingly Burgundy-esque New World Chardonnay. Finishes long, complex, and great value. 94 points.
