Why We Love This Wine

A wine that does justice to the fragrant floral and unique stone fruit characteristics of Viognier, the Le Grand Noir Viognier pairs excellently with lean fish and light white meat dishes. Serve well chilled.

Winemaker / Tasting Notes

Viogniers are often over-oaked. We wanted our wine to display the floral, exotic of this grape and it was crucial that it would be a great accompaniment to food. So we added 15% of Chardonnay grapes to the blend, giving the wine extra freshness, and to go with its delightful mango, and apricot flavours. The wine saw no oak. A truly classy example of this variety.
