Intensely concentrated aromas of cassis, red currants, strawberry jam, & vanilla dovetail into a smooth & elegant palate with a fine, silky texture exhibiting chocolate, vanilla, black cherry, & savory meat characters. Despite extended aging in French & American oak barrels for 18 months, the sheer concentration of the grapes' fruit flavors still manage to shine through.
