A limpid ruby red in color, this is a solid 2016 Gigondas Les Murailles with expressive red & dark berry preserve aromas to go along with incense & floral pastille accents. The palate is nicely weighted with chewy black raspberry, bitter cherry, & licorice flavors with added spice touches buttressed by fresh & ripe tannins with a bright acidityl eading to an energetic cherry & lavender laced finish.
