Winemaker / Tasting Notes

Ridge Chardonnay is a classically, Burgundian-styled Chardonnay. It is taught, tight and chiselled, with a medley of nectarine and citrus fruit, and refreshing and long finish.

The grapes for this expressive wine hails from a cool, eastern slope on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge with low-vigour, stony, clay-rich Bokkeveld shale soil.

Only 5,760 bottles of this vintage were produced.
