Taisteal derives its name from the Gaelic word for “journey” and is born of a rich tradition of Scotch whisky. Taisteal is a conduit between the past and the future of spirits and those that love them. We partner with our distillers to take 500 years of Scottish heritage into the 21st century, forging a gateway to the rich history of Scotch whisky in a modern age. The nose showcases redolent aromas of floral heather honey, tobacco, & fresh sweet malt. On the palate, biscuity malt & nougat flavors are expressed with added citrus curd & lemon blossom characters. A drizzle of molasses along with orange oil characters linger on the finish.
