From the 2019 Young Guns of Wine winner, Koerner Wines, comes the Pigato Vermentino- a sophiscated Vermentino that is made for freshness and drinkability- an elegant peach iced tea perfect for Manila’s weather.
Hand-harvested from the Gullyview Vineyard in Watervale, the fruit sees 20 days of gentle skin contact, giving a very light orange glow, just the right amount of soft tannins, and lots of floral and zesty notes. The winemaking follows the natural wine philosophy- spontaneous fermentation, hand plunged, and minimal intervention. The wine then is aged for 7 months in steel to retain the aromas and bottled with no fining and no filtration.
