Founded in the late 1990s by fresh food business mogul Gonzalo Vial, Vina Ventisquero began making wine in the year 2000 with a single purpose of creating distinctive, high quality wines that resonate with their target audience globally. This wine opens up with lots of toasty oak characters, violet florals, & fresh earth on the nose. Medium bodied & smooth on the palate, red cherry notes are revealed in this Chilean red wine that is a classic expression of Casablanca Valley's cool climate character. Deep red ruby with complex aromas where red fruits & cherries mix with notes of butter, vanilla, coffee, & toast. In the mouth, it is well-balanced with a good body & soft tannic structure.
