Why We Love This Wine
A 4th generation family owned winery in Western Australia's Southern area of Frankland River, Alkoomi's vineyard management philosophy has always been quality over quantity while practicing sustainable farming. The cool climate and well-drained gravelly loam soils here are similar to those of Bordeaux in France. The long, cool ripening conditions in this area are perfect for the production of grapes of intense varietal character. Grapes are harvested at the peak of ripeness in the cool, early morning to retain primary fruit freshness from juice, to fermentation, to bottle. Very pale straw in color, this white blend reveals citrus, gooseberry, & lemongrass aromas. On the palate, it is pure & elegant with a bright & vibrant mix of lemon fruit characters with light tropicals and mouthwatering acidity. This is a well made, satin soft wine that will go very well with a Greek Salad with Herb Dressing.

This white blend exhibits aromas of flower stalks and flavors of stone fruit & green herbs buttressed by a laser like acidity with a stony, slippery mouthfeel.
