Forceful oak-based aromas of clove and cinnamon are less than natural, while this is powerful, raw, gritty and pinched on the palate. Wood-based flavors of clove and cinnamon sit on top of blackberry fruit, while this tastes of black plum and blackberry on a sappy, oaky finish. Michael Schachner
