As far as the discipline of producing dry Rieslings, the Burklin Wolf Estate is simply without peer with the capacity of producing 7 Grand Crus & 7 Premier Crus in any given vintage. They are arguably the best & most consistent producers of great dry Rieslings worldwide. This 2019 Riesling Trocken is spicy, deep, & complex with a flinty mineral character & a dark toned bouquet. On the palate, it is charming, round, elegant, & fruity with a refined mouthfeel & serious character.
This Dr. Burklin-Wolf Riesling has a redolent nose of fresh apple, lime, pear, and grapefruit with nuances of white pepper while showing off light floral notes as well. On the palate, this white wine from the Rhineland-Palatinate has a wonderfully juicy acidity and a lovely minerality.
