A blend of the classic Bordeaux varietals – Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Vibrant aromas and flavors of fresh blackberry jam, cassis, cedar, anise, blueberry, spiced rum, coffee and caramel combine with a rich mid-palate with round tannins. This wine’s upfront silkiness and roundness make for a delicious selection now and will drink well for 15-20 years.
The Ferrari Carano Trésor complements lamb, beef and duck dishes that are roasted or braised. Try Trésor with strong-flavored cheeses such as Gorgonzola and sharp Cheddar.
