Why We Love This Wine
Reminiscent of Southern Burgundy-style Chardonnay but with a New-World twist, this wine exhibits fresh, ripe tropical fruit characteristics alongside minerally nuances. The inclusion of Viognier in this wine from the Languedoc region lends itself well, making it an ideal pair to most fish and white meat dishes. Serve lightly chilled with food or enjoy on its own.
Winemaker / Tasting Notes
Chardonnays come in many styles, from light and minerally to rich, buttery and oaky. We wanted to make a Chardonnay that was satisfying, yet fresh, and with a sufficiently interesting flavour to capture the imagination. From the outset, it was crucial that it would be a great accompaniment to food. This is a fresh, pineappley wine, with a subtle hint of oak and a touch of mango and ginger.
