Family Red has always been our winemakers' favorite. It takes patience to fully appreciate this wine, because only after a long period of decanting can you completely discover its charms. Elegant and complex, we often call this the ballerina of our range.
Blackberry, sour plum, violet, and tobacco on the nose. Savory on the palate paired with spices such as fennel, black pepper, and clove. Fine tannins and long finish. Can be enjoyed alone or paired with Grilled Beef Steaks, Roasted Goose, Double Cooked Pork Slices, Roasted Pigeon, Roasted Duck, Vegetarian Couscous, and Parmigiana di Melanzane.

A deep, dark ruby color with tinges of brown greets the eyes. On the nose, a bouquet of dark fruits, fruitcake, fig jam, meat, smoke, and a vast number of spices are to be discovered.
