With its freshness and balance, the 2019 vintage proved to be one of the finest in recent years. A mild winter gave way to a rainy spring, followed by a dry summer. August's cold nights helped Cabernet and Sangiovese reach perfect sugar and phenolic maturation. The floral echoes of hibiscus, violet, strawberries and cassis are complemented by thyme's balsamic touch. In the mouth, the sip leaves a vibrant and vigorous taste that warms the palate. The perfectly ripe tannins and acidity of Sangiovese balance the exuberant fruity profile. The long finish stands out for its elegance and persistence, with clear notes of underbrush.
