An excellent value 91pt James Suckling Medoc from Chateau La Tour de By. Lovely ripe blackberry flavours with a touch of spice and firm tannins. You'll love this Bordeaux red blend with soy-marinated baked salmon, steak, pasta as well as hard cheeses. Make sure to decant for one hour to soften and open its perfume. This wine will age wonderfully, drink from 2021.

Chateau La Tour de By 2014 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (35%) and Petit Verdot (5%) aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Good dark, ruby red colour announcing a beautiful maturity of the grape The nose has blueberry and blackberry aromas with hints of vanilla and oak. The palate is dense and concentrated, fresh but with a firm tannin structure with flavours of blackberry, cassis, dried plums and a hint of spice. Good length, very rich and perfectly balanced tannic structure, which confers an excellent capacity for ageing 20 years and more.
