Founded in the late 1990s by fresh food business mogul Gonzalo Vial, Vina Ventisquero began making wine in the year 2000 with a single purpose of creating distinctive, high quality wines that resonate with their target audience globally. Under the guidance of Chief Winemaker Felipe Tosso, the Winery was 1st established in the coastal Maipo Valley shortly followed by expansion into the Casablanca Valley and the prestigious Apalta Valley for their premium wine range. Continually undergoing extensive research to extract the most accurate expressions of Chile's unique terroir, Vina Ventisquero now counts Estate Vineyards in the country's top wine producing areas: Maipo Valley, Casablanca Valley, Apalta Valley, Leyda, and the Colchagua Valley. Cherry red with a maroon tinged rim, the nose reveals blueberry, blackberry, black currant, cherry, & strawberry fruit characters with spicy nuances that intermingle seamlessly with trace hints of chocolate, tobacco, & vanilla. On the palate, this wine is big & bold with smooth tannins that deliver a clean, elegant finish.

Deep blue red color with black and mature red fruit aromas like blueberries, berries, strawberries and cherries together with spice blends, chocolate, tobacco and wood. This wine has an excellent structure as well as plush & silky tannins.
